Job Description
University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center (UM SJMC ), a member of the University of Maryland Medical System has an opening available for an Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team located in Towson, Maryland.
Job Specifics:
Seeking a hardworking, detail-oriented Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, who embraces a collaborative approach to patient care.
The Endocrinology APP will provide direct, inpatient and outpatient care and management to endocrine patients. He/She will work collaboratively with the attending endocrinologists to manage a variety of inpatient endocrine consults. He/She will see patients in the outpatient Diabetes and Endocrine practice managing a variety of endocrine disease processes.
Endocrinology experience is highly preferred but will accept applications from experienced providers without endocrine experience.
NPs may have acute care certification or primary care certification
Full-time employee, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts, one weekend per month IP coverage requirement
