Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and motivated individual to fill the role of Senior Engineer. If you have a background in environmental engineering with signatory credential, and a drive to make a positive impact, we want to hear from you! As a Senior Engineer, you will work closely with experienced Project Managers and cross functional teams, managing and overseeing a variety of engineering projects, including interpreting and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, designing and optimizing remediation strategies, and collaborating with key stakeholders to complete projects.
This role offers a unique pathway to becoming a Senior Engineering Manager, offering hands-on learning experiences, leadership and mentoring opportunities, and exposure to a variety of projects.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
You will spend a day overseeing engineering projects and updating procedures for operational efficiency. This role involves interpreting regulations, designing tailored remediation strategies, and optimizing system performance. Active participation in strategic planning, personnel management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential. The Senior Engineer plays a key role in proposal preparation and performing final review (QA/QC), ensuring high-quality work products. You will participate in client and business development activities including supporting staff, contributing to initiatives, and identifying new income streams. The Senior Engineer is a dynamic adventure on the technical side of environmental consulting, balancing 75% office work and up to 25% travel to immersive field/site visits.
