As a Manufacturing Engineer, you evaluate the product designs and create the processes, tools and procedures behind Google’s powerful search technology. As a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer Manager in the Cloud Supply Chain Organization, you will lead the team responsible for providing manufacturing support and guidance for Google Cloud's Hardware products. You will launch new products in Contract Manufacturer (CM), Original Design Manufacturer (ODM), and Joint Development (JDM) environments. For our Cloud products, you will deliver advanced mechanical manufacturing engineering and Design for Excellence (DFx) expertise through the leadership of your team. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $159,000-$239,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Lead a team of highly competent Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering Experts, to deliver Cloud Hardware to our customers.

Develop a technical, communication, and leadership understanding with the Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering Staff.

Inform and lead appropriate organizational and business transformations to enhance operational capability and predictability of the Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering function.

Build and maintain critical stakeholder relationships with cross-functional leaders of Engineering, Project Management, Commodity Management, Deployment and Quality organizations, representing the Manufacturing Engineering Function.

Contribute to the advancement of the Technical Operations Community through participation in various organizational development activities.
