About the Head of Product position
We are looking for a dynamic Head of Product who will lead our product development organization. You will be responsible for defining and driving the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and entire product lifecycle. You will report to the CEO and be responsible for hiring and running a team that includes innovative product managers, designers, and engineers.
The successful candidate will have a strategic vision, combined with the ability to tactically execute and drive product operations, ensuring our platform continues to grow and serve as best in class in our industry. This candidate should be originative and have a results-driven approach to building strategic client partnerships through the advancement of our product roadmap.
Head of Product responsibilities include:
Product Strategy : Collaborate with senior leadership to define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap focused on maintaining a market leadership position.
Leadership and Team Building : Hire and lead a high performing team of engineers and managers to achieve the product and company goals.
Embrace the Voice of the Customer: Retrieve and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and end products
Define the Product: Establish and own product requirements and the requirement definition process in order to communicate to the team what we are building and what the acceptance criteria is.
Own the Product Lifecycle: Prioritize features, establish requirements, and manage development. Validate and deploy new releases, and gather user feedback.
Develop the Framework : Establish and evolve company processes to keep up with company growth.
Head of Product requirements are:
10+ years of experience of working in Product Management or other relevant experiences, ideally leading cross-functional product teams
3+ years of experience in executive level product roles
Significant experience hiring software engineers and other product development related roles
Background in software development is strongly preferred
Exceptional abilities in organizational, leadership and communication
Strong problem-solving skills with creative approach
Experience working in rapidly growing company is strongly preferred
BSc or BA in Computer Science, Engineering or other related area is strongly preferred, but not required
Living within distance to Philadelphia is strongly preferred but not required
