EFI is looking for a Purchasing Manager to join our Inkjet Business.
Job Description:
* Ensure compliance to all purchasing policies
* Manage and administer daily activities of all purchasing staff and provide training to staff
* Monitor all purchasing activities and design various cost effective methods according to demands
* Evaluate quotes and coordinate with suppliers to provide required component bids and analyze supplier performance for improvement
* Maintain professional relationships with suppliers and provide an effective interface with all departments
* Design and implement various purchasing strategies and procurement policies and participate in all supplier reduction programs in coordination with global supply chain team
* Determine appropriate programs for all purchase requirements and assist to reduce supply chain cost
Job Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience
* Proven track record of procurement experience including experience managing a purchasing team
* Has successfully managed negotiations including international suppliers, adversarial supplier relationships and disruptive supply situations
* Is able to understand and speak to operational excellence
* Can demonstrate strong written and verbal presentation skills
* Microsoft Office proficiency (Very Strong Excel Skills)
* Strong SAP experience preferred
