Summary/Overview:

The Vice President of Americas Field Marketing will lead the marketing strategy and execution for the Americas region – Canada, United States, LATAM. This is a highly strategic and central role, responsible for collaborating with the global marketing teams to develop comprehensive marketing programs to support the Americas sales teams across the Americas. This role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across the business to drive revenue growth and market expansion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams that are closely aligned with sales to drive growth in a B2B environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing technical solutions, preferably in infrastructure and security, and experience in SaaS.

Responsibilities:

Team leadership: lead a high-performing, cross-functional team of field marketers, and program strategists, providing coaching, guidance, and support to drive individual and team success

Strategic Planning: Bring a consultative approach to partnering with senior sales leadership in the Americas to understand the business goals of Americas Sales, as well as the overall GTM priorities, and develop and execute marketing plans to meet those objectives

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business goals and objectives. Serve as a senior leader and strategic voice within the Marketing Leadership team and collaborate with peers Field Marketing leaders in EMEA and APJ

Field Marketing: Lead the planning and execution of marketing programs, including hosted and sponsored events and targeted 1:1 and 1: few campaigns, to support sales goals, drive pipeline growth, and accelerate deal cycles. Work closely and collaboratively with SDR leadership to optimize marketing funnels and sales pipeline

Content, Communication and Programs: Oversee the development of Americas marketing collateral, sales communications, and programs to support sales teams and channel partners and achieve scale, ensuring alignment with messaging and branding guidelines

Budget management: Manage marketing budgets across the Americas team, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to drive maximum ROI and achieve business objectives

Performance Tracking and Reporting: drive continuous analysis of performance data and derive actionable insights for campaigns and field programs. Serve as the accountable leader for tracking, reporting, and optimizing marketing performance and contribution in the Americas region

Qualifications:

BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Communications or other related field, or relevant experience

12-15+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with 5 years of field and channel marketing leadership

Proven track record of success in developing and executing strategic marketing plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion

This is a senior management position that requires the ability to analyze data, develop strategies to achieve desired metrics, build compelling business cases for investment, and present results at executive levels

Strong leadership skills with experience leading and mentoring cross-functional teams

Successful track record leading teams of 20+ members, including people managers and individual contributors

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.

United States of America Pay Range

$314,900 — $449,800 USD
