POSITION SUMMARY:
Calibrates gages, inspects hand tools, adjusts gage intervals in accordance with API specifications. Creates traceability records which tie back to NIST.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Working safely.* Maintenance and calibration of gauges.* Maintaining a drift inventory.* Receiving inspections of critical parts.* Auditing production lines.* Documenting calibrations and repair of gauges.* Housekeeping of the gauge room.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE:
* Must have a thorough understanding of API specifications related to tubular goods.* Experience or training in the care and maintenance of measuring and test equipment.* Must be proficient in API Thread Gauging.* Must have good communication skills and be capable of maintaining historical records of gauge certifications and repairs.
