Engineers binnen het security support team zijn het technische aanspreekpunt voor klanten mbt het dagelijkse beheer van hun security infrastructuur.
Het takenpakket bestaat onder andere uit:
Incident & Change management van security infrastructuur
End-to-end verantwoordelijk voor het oplossen van incidenten (Probleem documenteren, analyseren dmv testing, logging, debugging, packet captures,.. en implementeren van de oplossing/fix/workaround)
Samenwerken met de internationale support van onze security vendors (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, F5,..)
Implementeren van operationele changes
Adviseren van de klant mbt best practices
Documenteren van je acties en communicaties met verschillende interne en externe partijen
Als Security Engineer verwerf je gaandeweg een grondige kennis en ervaring op diverse IT-gebieden door combinatie van on-the-job opleiding, coaching door onze consultants.en zelfstudie. We zetten ook sterk in op ondersteuning om de nodige certificaties te behalen die nodig zijn voor deze functie.
Your skills Profiel
Je hebt een master- of bachelordiploma met specialisatie informatica, elektronica, telecommunicatie of wiskunde. Je hebt een grote interesse voor beveiliging en bent goed op de hoogte van de volgende gebieden:
TCP/IP-netwerken
UNIX- en Windows-serversystemen
Beveiligingstechnologie, zoals firewalls, proxy’s, authenticatieservers en IDS
Kennis van Check Point is zeker een voordeel
Qua persoonlijkheid ben je iemand die goed kan samenwerken en snel nieuwe dingen wilt leren. Je bent klantgericht en kunt goed communiceren. Je hebt goede probleemanalytische en probleemoplossende vaardigheden.
Je profiel wordt afgerond door een flexibele houding en een zeer goede kennis van het Engels & Nederlands.
