Test Systems EngineerPosition Description: This individual will be responsible for the design, development, integration, and delivery of specialized Automated Test Equipment to validate and verify functional performance of military vehicle hardware. Tasks include:Develop hardware interface schematics and material part listsDevelop test equipment controlled software routines using LabViewCoordinate material build kits and support technicians with test equipment fabricationVerify test equipment and test software supports product requirement complianceSupport quality reviews for designed test equipment and test softwareDesign new components and make improvements to existing test equipmentEnsure analysis is related to the design, development, and implementation of components.Develop test strategies, devices, and systems.Develop test reports from captured data using LabviewWork with other members of the engineering staff to ensure the product meets its requirements.Good problem and troubleshooting skillsCreate electrical design drawings and develop electrical cable drawingsAssembly of automated test consoles and related equipment / cablesMaintain and organize associated engineering labsPerform hardware and software code reviews and assist with troubleshootingPosition Requirements:Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering with a minimum of 7+ years of applicable experience.Experience using LabView software, GPIB, USB, LXI, and PXI bus instrumentsExperience programming with C++, Python, or Visual Basic will be consideredCapable of operating test instrumentation, including power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, DMMs, function generators, and DAQs.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational skillsMust be familiar with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Project, OneNote and PowerPoint)Prior work on military ground-based vehicle systems is a plusAble and willing to travel domestically but not requiredEOE Employer
