Operations BI Product Analyst

Development of data products requires development of a consolidated cloud data platform, ingesting data from multiple different sources in a Unified Data Platform (UDP), application of specific business rules, and finally building reporting and data science products for the different stakeholders to act on.
As a Data Product analyst for the Operations pod, you will play a key role in delivery of the end-to-end data lifecycle for the UDP solution, from data ingestion to building data pipelines (both upstream and downstream integrations), to reporting solutions development or deployment of data science models for a specific business domain. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, business intelligence, data & analytics, and operations, to define and execute against a roadmap that aligns with the product's overall objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with Data Product Manager and his/her stakeholders to maintain UDP's strategy that incorporates product goals, with an objective to drive value through application of agile product management principles .
Build detailed data requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria by driving cross-functional alignment and ensuring clear path for execution by engineering and other teams
Translate requirements and backlog into an execution plan containing well-defined and prioritized features/user stories; Manage KTLO backlog and prioritization along with new feature development pipeline
Participate in all Agile ceremonies including Sprint planning, standups, retros, demos, etc. and contribute towards achieving periodic (quarterly / sprint) goals
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams during development lifecycle, including during PI planning, estimation, prioritization, and execution across a sprint lifecycle
Conduct self-testing post development, and execute/support User acceptance testing before feature deployment
Keep tab on industry best practices, data platform capabilities, and industry knowledge; Ensure all documentation and artifacts are up to date and accurate
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS 4-Year Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field required.
4 Years Experience as data or technology engineer with deep understanding of data platforms, development of data/model pipelines, and integrations
3 yrs Business intelligence experience, preferably PowerBI
2 yrs Working experience with cloud-based data warehouses such as Snowflake
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, or ABILITIES 4+ years of experience working as data or technology engineer with deep understanding of data platforms, development of data/model pipelines, and integrations
3+ years of experience with implementing PowerBI reports and dashboards
2+ years of working experience with cloud-based data warehouses such as Snowflake
Strong knowledge of data pipelines, data APIs, and data quality needs including monitoring and reporting
Knowledge of QSR or retail industry is a strong plus
Ability to work hands on with data using SQL to analyze data, understand data schemas and governance
Familiarity with machine learning concepts and model deployments is a plus
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions, able to collect and synthesize information, making it relevant and actionable for key stakeholders
Clear communicator with excellent writing, presentation, and influencing skills
Strong documentation skills, specifically writing requirements, user acceptance testing, and other strategic documentations to communicate vision and strategy
Strong collaborator with ability to work laterally and drive alignment across the organization
Is results oriented with ability to operate in ambiguity and deliver tangible business results
Experience working with teams across geographies is a plus
Experience working with analytical tool such as Databricks, Tableau or similar tools is a plus
This position sits within our Atlanta Support Center with an expectation to be onsite 80% of the time
