Essential Functions: Organize placement of material on trucks for effective and timely delivery
Inspect trucks each day per DOT regulations and complete required DOT paperwork
Deliver material to customers and pick up returns
Communicate with the sales department regarding order problems
Assist in various tasks that promote the effective functioning of the warehouse
Immediately report any accidents/incidents to your immediate supervisor and the Manager of General Services.
Clean out the truck cab and box after each delivery route.
Stage all returned material in appropriate areas.
Assist with picking or putting in the warehouse.
Additional tasks as assigned.
Competencies: Observe legal and defensive driving practices
Build and maintain customer service relationships
Work Environment:
This job operates in a warehouse, in a delivery truck, and at various job/customer sites delivering material. Temperatures/climates as well as walking surfaces and terrains may vary depending on customer/job location. When not on the road, this job mostly operates within the warehouse setting. Varying temperatures and moving equipment are present in the warehouse. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Physical Demands: the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, push/pull) weight up to 50lbs unassisted
Must be able to walk on varying terrains and surfaces at different job sites/customer locations
The ability to climb into a truck
The ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and various warehousing machinery/tools
Ability to use a keyboard and type proficiently
Specific vision abilities required by this job may include close vision, color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Education and Experience: A high school diploma or GED equivalent required
Two years of warehouse experience preferred
A valid Pennsylvania driver's license required
A DOT Medical Card required
