Ideal candidates will have:
3-10 years of experience with process/thermal design of fired heaters, WHB, and associated systems
Familiarity with FRNC-5 heater simulation programs
A deep understanding of appropriate industry standards (API 560) and codes (ASME, ASTM)
Experience in studies, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
Key responsibilities will include:
Coordinating with commercial, engineering, and procurement teams for proposal activities
Prepare and review design of fired heaters, electrical heaters, and waste heat boilers
Development of the P&IDs, review of line sizing, pump calculations, hydraulics, equipment & instrument datasheet preparation, equipment layout, and operating manual preparation
Taking part in 3D model reviews
Evaluation of vendor quotations and prepare technical bid analysis.
Participation in management estimate review meetings
Burner testing and burner start-ups
