**Responsibilities**
+ Serve as an engineer on the planning, design, construction, and/or commissioning of water and wastewater infrastructure projects of various sizes. Projects may include but are not limited to master planning, pipelines, pump stations, and storage facilities.
+ Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering work on small to large projects of varying complexity.
+ Work on engineering designs, develop plans and specifications, facilitate permitting, and prepare cost estimates for various infrastructure projects.
+ Perform data entry and analysis, alternatives analysis, system modeling, process calculations, and hydraulic calculations to size and select facilities.
+ Prepare technical memorandum, reports, and other deliverables.
+ Perform engineering services during construction, including but not limited to reviewing contractor submittals for conformance with contract plans and specifications and evaluating requests for information.
+ Coordinate the work of other engineering disciplines, designers, modelers, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments.
+ Participate in field activities, such as site visits and overseeing field work.
+ Assist with proposals, interviews, and contract negotiations.
+ Active in professional associations including presentation of technical papers, participating on technical committees, etc.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelors degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering field
+ 6-12 years experiencein planning, design, and/or construction of water and wastewater infrastructure projects
+ Registration as a Professional Engineer in Texas
+ Ability to apply strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to apply critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques to develop options and recommendations to solve technical problems
+ Ability to present to groups and communicate effectively with clients and project team
+ Ability to work well in a team environment
+ Highly motivated and self-starting
+ Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Masters degree in Civil Engineering
