**Job Description**

The Carpark Traffic Marshall is primarily responsible for the car park operations and management including overseeing the valet services.

**Key Duties**

* Closely monitor front entrance traffic and side road traffic during peak periods such as 10am to 12noon, during rain or whenever there is congestion and to clear jam at front entrance and drop off point during office hours

* Perform Traffic Marshall duties daily professionally and efficiently to ensure smooth flow of doctors and emergency vehicles into TMC main entrance at all times

* Facilitate doctor's car to be taken over by valet as soon as possible if Doctor's car is prevented from entering TMC due to congestion

* Ensure non-doctor and non-emergency vehicles move up the side road and make a U-turn to drop off passengers at taxi stand or enter main entrance subsequently

* Monitor and ensure no illegal vehicles are parked along the road near TMC rubbish bin area. Activate LTA enforcement officers when necessary

* Attend to customer complaints expeditiously and implement corrective or preventive action in consultant with the Senior Engineer, Property of Operational Support.

* To conduct carpark incident report as and when necessary

* Perform any other duties, which may be necessary from time to time.

**Requirements**

* Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/"O" Level/WSQ Security Certificate or equivalent

* At least 3 years of working experience in management of car park & security operation

* Have valid PLRD license

* Able to stand for long hours under rain or shine

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim

* Cleans offices, rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas

* Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor

* Spot cleans rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture

* Dusts furniture and equipment

* Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork

* Washes windows, door panels, and sills

* Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays

* Transports trash and waste to disposal area

* Replenishes bathroom supplies

* Other duties may be assigned

**Education/Experience:**

* At least one year of Janitorial experience

**Language Ability:**

* Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences

**Reasoning Ability:**

* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables

**Supervisory Responsibilities:**

* This job has no supervisory responsibilities
