Key responsibilities
The Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician performs in-process repairs of equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance and repair of production equipment during machine service. The primary function of this swing shift i s to keep equipment running efficiently to meet production goals.
Experience motor troubleshooting, repair & wiring
Pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting and repair
Pump repair
Understanding of 3 phase wiring, high voltage, 120-480 VAC
Preventative and predictive maintenance
Boiler maintenance and repair, license helpful.
Understanding of VFD's, troubleshooting, repair and wiring. PLC's - a plus
Piping systems - sanitary for product flow, steam piping, and pneumatic.
Process equipment - pumps, motors, filling, capping, labelers, packing, and sealing equipment.
Use of MS products and SAP software ideal.
Prior manufacturing safety training - OSHA 10, ISO 14001, cGMP, Sanitary environment, HazMat
What You'll Need to Succeed:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Trade school or continuing education in engineering or electro-mechanical repairs preferred.
3+ years of experience in an industrial maintenance related position, preferable chemical or food process
Possess and demonstrate basic technical knowledge of some or all of the following:
