Senior Integration Developer - Mulesoft

Position Purpose You are the driver of MuleSoft development for implementations. You will be designing and building the Hancock’s integration solutions. You will also be Deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting integration or APIs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Designing Application Programming Interface (API) layers, data model and API specifications.
Developing APIs using Mulesoft platform components including API Manager, CloudHub, AnyPoint Studio, Dataweave and AnyPoint Messaging Queue (MQ).
Developing solution features following MuleSoft development best practices, ensuring solution performance and system scalability.
Testing and improving performance of the APIs in terms of response time, reliability and resource usage.
Writing Dataweave expressions to transform data, Control message content, flow, and processing by selecting and implementing appropriate connectors, routers, scopes, and filters.
Designing and implement comprehensive error handling strategies for applications.
Driving continuous integration and delivery of APIs using DevOps tools.
Configuring and deploying Mule applications to CloudHub and/or single or clusters of customer-hosted Mule runtimes.
Implementing and consuming (Representational State Transfer) REST and (Single Object Access Protocol) SOAP web services.
Create and configuring flows, sub flows, and flow processing strategies for reusability and performance.
Troubleshooting complex production issues with APIs, identify source of the issue and work with the appropriate team to get the issue fixed.
Qualifications Bachelors in Engineering or Computer science and 7 years of Software Engineering Experience or Masters in Engineering/Computer Science with 5 years of Software Engineering experience.
Minimum 4 years experience with building Mule integrations with proven success with multiple implementations
Experience designing API specs using RAML, Swagger, OpenAPI or other API modeling language.
Experience building integrations that connect with one or more on-premise / SaaS packaged COTS solutions for ERP, CRM, e-Commerce, or mobile
Experience developing, profiling, and troubleshooting Java application code and automated testing tools
Must be a MuleSoft Certified Developer
Preferences Experience with Salesforce Connector
Experience with High-Availability, Fault-Tolerance, Performance Testing and Tuning parameters
Experience creating an automated CI/CD build pipeline using tools such as Maven and Jenkins
Experience with load testing tools such as JMeter
Excellent communication skills
Highly motivated and can work independently in small teams
Scheduling Mondays thru Fridays, 9:00am to 6:00pm (approximate)
Schedule may change according to business operational needs to include weekend hours
Remote but must be able to work EST/EDT hours between 8 am-5 pm.
Environmental Factors Work is performed indoors in a typical office environment, or, work is normally performed indoors in a typical office environment but may occasionally be required to perform work outdoors
Possibility of travel to locations outside of the office environment
Physical/Mental Skills and Abilities Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 10 - 50 pounds at times.
Hand-eye coordination, arm, hand, and finger dexterity including ability to grasp and operate equipment
Visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment, and read technical information
