Investment Analyst/ Quantitative Analyst

Job Summary:

NEPC is looking to build out our Portfolio Construction (PC) Group by adding an Investment Analyst/ Data Scientist to the team. The PC group is part of our Research Team and works closely with our Consulting Team to build investment solutions. The ideal candidate enjoys quantitative analysis, finance and investments.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and validate investment models - capital market assumptions, portfolio fit etc.

Collaborate with other team members on scoping solutions and project decision points.

Work on complex problems of diverse scope often with ambiguous data

Be recognized by others as an authority/professional resource in his/her area of expertise.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in mathematics, finance, economics - or related fields desired.

Experience in business intelligence tools like Spotfire, Power Business Intelligence (BI), Tableau - desired but not required.

Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and R or Python skills - desired but not required.

Background in investment and/or other financial services.
