Excellent knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and testing tools
Experience with UNIX shell-scripting and Python
Experience developing detailed test plans, assessing risks, filing detailed bug reports, and providing relevant data for test reporting.
Proactive self-starter with a keen eye for details with focus on end-user experiences and ability to go above and beyond to ensure a high quality release.
Troubleshoot, triage and provide detailed debug information for expediting issue resolution

In this role, you will be responsible for shipping world-class user experiences and act as the voice of our end-users. You will own a technical area and drive functional testing efforts, leveraging strong automation experience. This role involves deep integration and close collaboration with development team, cross-functional test teams, and project managers. This position requires a self-motivated and dynamic individual with strong technical and communication skills who can contribute in a team environment. You will be responsible for building and executing test plans, sharing results, and serving as an advocate for quality.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $132,300.00 and $241,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
