Job Summary
Includes the support, coordination, production, and management of written, visual, and digital marketing and communications strategy, programs and materials. Responsible for leading marketing teams in developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans for the organization in order to attract potential customers and to retain existing clients.
Job Responsibilities
Promotes and implements marketing strategy by planning and managing marketing programs
Leads and oversees marketing and/or communications operations
Ensures strategic alignment regarding internal and external marketing initiatives
Accountable for the performance and results of a team within area of specialty
Assesses departmental priorities to address resource and operational challenges
Decisions and problem solving are guided by policies, procedures and department plan; receives guidance from senior leaders
Applies understanding of the business and how own area integrates with others to achieve departmental objectives
Reviews the team’s ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives
Identifies and solves technical and operational problems; understands broader impact across the department
Education
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
Experience
Typically requires 5+ years of related work experience
