The Opportunity:
The Memphis Grizzlies are seeking a Marketing Technology Specialist to join our dynamic Marketing Technology Team. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and marketing acumen to support our email and SMS marketing tools effectively. As a Marketing Technology Specialist, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our marketing automation platforms and leveraging data insights to enhance our digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
You will work cross-functionally with stakeholders and data sources, leading the technical implementation and management of key marketing automation platforms, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other personalization tools as needed.
In This Role You Will:
Manage and optimize email and SMS marketing tools, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Attentive, Litmus and Movable Ink.
Assist with the technical discovery for building sophisticated email campaigns and customer journeys by configuring and supporting SFMC and other marketing automation platform environments, ensuring data quality, user segments, and integrations.
Drive efforts within marketing automation platforms, especially SFMC, for enhanced organizational efficiency, customer journeys, and advanced segmentation.
Collaborate with the paid advertising & digital marketing teams to develop audience segmentations for personalized, targeted, content delivery via text, email, or push notifications.
Work closely with the MarTech, Digital Marketing, and Business Strategy & Analytics teams to facilitate new development requests, including platform connections and marketing automations.
Leverage internal & external data points to identify optimization opportunities.
Work cross functionally on reporting and/or data visualizations to highlight key performance metrics, campaign results, and strategic insights across marketing channels to increase engagement, conversion, improve user experience, and ensure overall ROI.

The Experience You Will Bring:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, computer science, information technology, analytics, or a related field.
2-3 years?of experience with marketing automation platforms, particularly Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent.
Professional experience working with an enterprise email service provider such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or equivalent.
Professional experience working with personalization and automation tools including Litmus, Attentive, Movable Ink, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts and strategies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively cross-functionally.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Nice to Have:
2-3 years professional experience working with an enterprise email service provider such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or equivalent.
2-3 years professional experience working with personalization and automation tools including Litmus, Attentive, Movable Ink, or similar tools.
Prior experience using the Salesforce suite of tools.
Experience with text marketing best practices
Prior experience working with data visualization and reporting tools
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, such as Google Analytics.
Knowledge of sports and entertainment, specifically NBA basketball.
