Software Engineer Our TTC facility in Newtown, PA is the leading total system solution provider for defense and commercial aerospace test applications. TTC is committed to providing quality products and services that consistently meet or exceed our customers' requirements and expectations. We are currently seeking a Software Engineer. This position will report to the Senior Manager in charge of Windows desktop software. Your Challenge: Design and implement new features and improvements in the software.
Redesign portions of the software's architecture to improve performance.
Interface with other groups within Curtiss - Wright to support new hardware product development.
Collaborate with existing engineering team.
Plan and execute projects from start to finish.
Your Expertise: 1-2 years of recent software development experience required.
Experience with C#, Visual Basic .NET, and Microsoft Visual Studio
Experience with designing and implementing Windows Desktop applications is a strong plus.
Experience with .NET WinForms.
Ability to understanding complex software architectures.
Ability to document and present software architecture and/or designs.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced team environment.
Experience with IP networking protocols is a plus.
Experience with SQL databases is a plus.
Ability to work independently or with a small team on complex projects.
Experience in the aerospace industry is an asset.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer Engineering.
