Nutanix (NTNX) is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Systems

Engineer (SE) who will act as a trusted advisor to our customer's

beginning as a presales activity while aiding the customer's

transformational journey through adopting our solutions portfolio.

Your primary responsibility is to partner with the sales team and provide

technical knowledge around Nutanix solutions to our customers and

prospects. You'll provide technical expertise through sales

presentations and product demonstrations and guide prospects through

technical evaluations (POCs), which are critical to the deal's success.

Additionally, you will work with various teams to resolve customer

concerns, escalate product issues, and serve as an ambassador for our

brand.

**About the Team**

At Nutanix, you will have the opportunity to join the South Texas Enterprise Team, consisting of 5 System Engineers located in South Texas. You will report to the Senior Manager, Systems Engineering, who leads the North & South Texas Enterprise Team. This position is primarily remote, with a focus on being in the field directly in front of customers and the channel partner ecosystem. It is essential for the hire to have a strong presence in the field to forge strong relationships and support customer success.

As part of this role, you can expect travel within a specific region, between San Antonio and Austin, Texas. This travel is integral to engaging with customers and partners in the field and fostering strong, lasting connections within the region.

**Your Role**

+ Demonstrate features and articulate benefits of Nutanix solutionsto influence customer's purchases to drive business transformation

+ Size and configure Nutanix solutions

+ Navigate & build long-term relationships with customers & be seenand treated as their trusted/valued resource

+ Communicate customer feedback into the Nutanix ecosystem

+ Partner with sales counterparts in developing account plans,customer persona coverage models and proposal creation torecommend and design solutions based on Nutanix offerings

+ Collaborate with the broader presales team and obtain technical winsin the shortest and most professional manner

**What You Will Bring**

+ Over 7 years of total experience and 2-5 years of Sales Engineering experience.

+ Experience in a high-tech sales environment with a successful track record of driving customer adoption of technology is required.

+ Possess product solution knowledge, including understanding one or more of the following areas: Application Virtualization, Server Virtualization, Networking, Storage, and Platform Performance/Sizing.

+ Motivate, train, and conduct seminars with our partners to increase Nutanix revenues within your assigned territory.

+ Have a proven track record of maintaining relationships with technical resources at all levels of a customer organization.

+ Be flexible, dependable, a self-starter, and capable of quickly learning new products and technologies.

+ Familiarity with at least one managed Kubernetes platform (EKS, AKS, GKE) is highly preferred.

+ Native Cloud experience building, deploying, and managing modern applications in cloud computing environments is preferred.

+ Design, build, manage, and operate the infrastructure and configuration of container platforms with a focus on automation and infrastructure-as-code is preferred.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 165,200 and USD $ 247,800 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
