Directing the specialist design team, construction supervision and cost consultants throughout the project.

Implementing an appropriate and effective project management framework.

Identifying project risks, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans and implement action plans.

Establishing and preparing formal reporting arrangements on project progress for the client.

Establishing and monitoring appropriate project operating procedures and systems, specifically ensuring the management plan is being followed and adhered to.

Supervising, monitoring and reporting of the contractors' progress against the expectations of their contracts from all perspectives.

Coordinating and promoting teamwork between all project stakeholders.

Preparing scope of works including the identification of resource requirements, supporting the cost estimation and budget reviews.

Knowledge of multiple project delivery methods, including alternative project delivery (design build and construction manager at risk).

You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated construction teams. You will be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.

You'll also have:

Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.

Property or infrastructure project management expertise.

Commercial and financial acumen.

Experience of leading parts of projects within large, diverse teams.

Experience of developing and forming relationships with senior stakeholders.

Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
