Senior DevOps Engineers - US Remote

San Antonio, TX, United States

Responsibilities:

Helping build a modern infrastructure for building, deploying, and monitoring high-volume consumer-facing web applications, along with internal tools and systems;

Transitioning a large portion of the Company’s infrastructure to Amazon Web Services (“AWS”), helping the Company move to a container-based service architecture;

Supporting the “Big Data” infrastructure used by the Company’s Data Science team;

Helping resolve issues in production, test, and dev environments;

Testing the Company’s systems and processes;

Working on tools for deployment, monitoring and operations;

Designing, implementing, and providing ongoing support of our evolving cloud service and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline;

Engaging in the full product development lifecycle from creation through delivery, operations and support;

Establishing continuous delivery pipeline to fully automate deployment of our highly available, mission critical cloud platform;

Creating scripts and templates to build, monitor, and tune our cloud-based environments; and

Leading and collaborating with our other engineers on software and system optimizations, to identify and remove performance bottlenecks.

Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field, plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation that includes the required experience and skills. Experience must include:

5 years of experience working with UNIX/Linux systems administration, Docker & Kubernetes, AWS, and laaC (infrastructure code);

5 years of experience with designing and developing continuous CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bamboo, Gitlab and Bitbucket;

5 years of development experience with Python or Golang;

5 years of experience with Big Data Technology which experience must include experience with Snowflake, AWS Batch Jobs or Spark; and

5 years of experience with MongoDB and PostGreSQL.

JOB LOCATION: Company's HQ is located in Madison, NJ. Candidate may work from home office located anywhere within the U.S.
