Job Description Job Description Quality Assurance & Documentation Specialist.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities Work with the Product Development team to ensure the quality and accuracy of the products and services being developed and delivered.
Conduct thorough quality assurance testing of digital products and features to identify and report defects and usability issues.
Develop and execute test cases and test plans based on project requirements and specifications.
Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of bug fixes and updates.
Work with various business areas such as Product Development, Implementation, Clearinghouse, and Call Center to develop needed training documentation and presentation materials.
Work with Product Owners and Stakeholders to develop End User documentation for our developed products and services.
Gather required information to create documentation of the following: User Guide & presentation materials for Quick Claim Portal
Training materials for customers regarding form completion for facility, professional, dental, and pharmacy
Technical specifications, acceptance criteria, and release notes
Testing results with associated defects and end user feedback
Presentation materials for form completion for both internal and external users
Documentation for new customers on how to enroll for clearinghouse services, add providers, and remove providers as needed
Documentation for troubleshooting ticketing system
Presentation materials for ticketing system
End User materials for new and existing products
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications Quality Assurance- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and tools.
Excellent Writing Skills- Strong command of English language, grammar, and style to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
Technical Proficiency- Ability to understand and interpret technical concepts, jargon, and specifications.
Understanding of Business Needs- Ability to comprehend the desired outcome of the product and features necessary to deliver the product.
Research Skills- Capability to gather information from diverse sources, including subject matter experts, documentation, and hand’s-on experimentation.
Adaptability- Flexibility to quickly grasp new technologies and adapt writing style to target audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.
Detail-oriented- A strong focus on accuracy and precision in work.
Organization- Ensure documents are managed and organized in appropriate shared folders, ensuring accessibility and version control.
Collaboration- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure accurate documentation.
Tools Proficiency-Professional presentation design background in Word/PFS and Powerpoint
User-Centric Approach- Focus on creating user-friendly documentation that addresses the needs of the target audience. For example, anticipation of Frequently Asked Questions and the inclusion in the documentation.
Preferred: A background in healthcare, preferably in insurance claim processing, or a Business Analyst role.
Reporting and Metrics
This position is responsible for the following metrics: Defect Tracking: Keeping track of defects found during the QA testing, including the number of defects identified, severity levels, status (open, resolved, closed), and resolution time.
Test Coverage: Monitoring the percentage of test cases executed against the total number of test cases planned, ensuring comprehensive coverage of features and functionalities.
