We are looking for a/an Hydraulic Applications Engineer to join our FE_Energy team in United States.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Guides Sales and Tendering in the selection of the correct hydraulic performance to satisfy the customer’s requirements. Supervises the production of pump proposal curves and documents the proposal in sufficient detail to allow a cost-effective quotation to be produced.
Reviews and advises on customer RFQs and specifications as pertaining to pump application requirements and hydraulic selection.
Primary contact/interface for Sales Applications Engineers and/or Tendering Groups for the compilation of engineering documents, drawings, calculations, and specifications to support tendering and estimating process.
On receipt of an order, assists Project Management and Order Related Engineering in the order review process to ensure that the quotation and customer requirements are understood.
Support Sales with customer meetings as requested.
Assists Engineering Management in the training and development of Engineering personnel.
Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide LEAN and EHS Management System which includes following all safety, health and environmental policies and procedures. Supports and cooperates in company-wide Quality Management effort .
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent training and experience.
Minimum of one (3) year experience in design and/or application of rotating equipment.
Proficient math and computer skills. Experience with Pumpjob, Siemens NX, and Filemaker preferred.
Knowledge of the Advance Engineering Request System (AEAR) and processes preferred
Sulzer product knowledge strongly preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
