Job Description:
Work to assemble, install, remove and repair all components required for the final assembly of aircraft seating, monuments, closets, lavatories, galleys, and other interior components of aircraft.
Work from verbal instructions, work orders, trim and finish drawings, pick sheets, and technical drawings/Bills of Materials in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.
Repair interior decorative laminate and interior painting (airbrush).
Make all final adjustments, alignments, and corrections necessary to assure compliance with all quality and specification requirements.
Read technical drawings to determine layouts, organize sequences of operation, and ensure that work is performed according to appropriate specifications.
Move materials and working/completed products to and from work positions.
Keep accurate records and make reports in accordance with work performance requirements, including but not limited to accepted test procedures and accepted test reports.
Meet all production and quality standards.
Experience/Requirements:
Interior installation, repair, and rework of interior aircraft components experience required .
Experience with decorative laminate repair and interior painting is a plus.
Blending and mixing paints, inks, and coatings to proper spraying consistency
Understand and utilize pick sheets, trim and finish drawings, work orders, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Quality inspection experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills as this position will act as a liaison between customers.
QMS and/or Velocity experience preferred.
* Must have prior Aviation Experience (Interior).
* Shifts: 1st, 2nd and 3rd (Must be Flexible)
