Responsibilities
Processes all new and used vehicles for registration.
Prepares tax and title documents.
Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles and generates plates and registrations for New Jersey and other states.
Verifies that funds have been collected and the correct lien holder paid off before processing title applications.
Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete.
Prepares Certificates of Origin (MSO)
Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work. Reports to management on the status of any missing or problem titles and provides a current list of outstanding titles to the controller at the end of month.
Assigns over titles for all wholesalers
Prepare Motor Vehicle paperwork for processing.
Post registration and titling fees
Other administrative duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
1 year experience with motor vehicle work (REQUIRED)
TriVin experience (preferred)
Must be detail oriented
Ability to work independently
Good communication skills
Pleasant phone demeanor
