Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Primary Care Physician in Columbia, MD. The successful candidate understands the pivotal role of primary care and is committed to long-term patient-physician relationships. The physician will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to adult patients of all ages, including diagnosis, treatment, ongoing care, and management of co-morbidities. The physician will also be responsible for utilizing the EHR to properly document and code patient interactions, as well as manage their inbox efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

Experience in primary care preferred.

2024 graduating residents are welcome to apply.

MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.

Current board certification (or eligibility) in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

Current (or eligibility) and unrestricted State Medical License.

Current (or eligibility) and unrestricted Federal and State DEA Certificate.

Proficient in EMR/EHR systems.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Ability and desire to work in a team-oriented environment.

Experience in quality improvement and population health management is a plus.
