Principal - Senior Enterprise Architect – Infosys Consulting

Infosys is seeking a Sr. Enterprise Architect. In this technology consulting leadership role, you will work on strategic next generation digital initiatives for leading global organizations worldwide. You will be part of an elite team of passionate technology leaders within the Infosys CTO organization working with a peer group that is ahead of the curve. Our work typically includes C-Level support in identifying technology trends and disruptors and then sustainably evolving them. It is an ideal opportunity for the senior candidate to help other industry leaders with the ideal candidate having vast and proven experience solving difficult challenges.

Required Qualifications:

Candidate must be located within the United States. This position may require travel in the US but primarily be based out of Houston, with travel to Client location primarily at Houston but also to other Client locations on as required basis

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Master’s degree preferred. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

Ideally should have played the role of a Chief Architect or Digital Architecture Lead in the past and should have personally lead a team of architects as part of large programs and provided guidance, coaching and mentoring to ensure technical quality of the program is met

Primarily experienced on Architecting applications / data services, security on Microsoft Azure Cloud Native Services

Monolithic to Microservices transformation to Microsoft Azure At least 10 years of experience in the areas of Digital Architecture in the areas like next generation UI/UX, API/ Microservices, Data/ Analytics and Cloud

At least 15 years of Information Technology experience. The senior candidate may sometimes have as much as 20 or more years overall professional experience up through the VP or C-Level

• Experience in post-modern Platforms and Digital Architecture

• Knowledge with full SDLC lifecycle including high-performance CI/CD

• Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

Should have technology breadth and depth covering Platforms, Cloud, Operations, Containerization, API based architectures, Functional Programming Architecture (covering experience, API/Microservices, analytics, cloud and security) and depth in one or more of these areas to drive end to end technology solution

Should have experience with EA frameworks (for e.g. TOGAF, Zachman) and should have applied one or more of these frameworks in practice

Should have high level understanding of business capabilities models within one or more industry verticals

Should have personally lead & delivered one or more at-scale, Transformation program successfully with tangible business outcomes

Should have very good communication and articulation skills and is able to comfortably communicate with right level of abstraction and detail when interacting with CXO, Middle mgmt. and developers

Should be able to do requirements analysis with financial modelling to determine the high level TCO for large programs ideally with one or more Solution Delivery examples with positive outcomes

Should have deep technology expertise in one or more areas (Digital/Mobility, Customer/User experience, API and Micro services, Search, Content Management, DAM, Commerce, CRM, Order management, Analytics, Cloud and SAAS/PAAS platforms) and should be able to have deep dive discussions with SME’s in this space

Should have rock solid foundations in security and infrastructure, with a zero distance to code and be able review the detailed design, code, configuration, data model and provide specific inputs to the architects and developers

Should have good understanding and exposure to the most current Products and Platforms relevant to industry verticals

Should have good understanding of the leading technologies, frameworks and tools in the market

Should have good understanding of leading No SQL databases and a solid foundation in traditional SQL environments

Should be able to work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary

Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
