System Administrator

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Systems Administrator to join our dynamic IT Team. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and secure use of technology across the organization. A strong understanding of MacOS, mobile device management (MDM), and inTune/Jamf is essential for success.
Responsibilities:
Partner with key stakeholders to design and implement technology solutions aligned with current standards and requirements.
Evaluate new systems, policies, standards, and procedures related to technology deployment and management.
Manage client management tools (Intune, MacOS, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, etc.).
Build, document, and update Mac and PC images for diverse hardware configurations.
Create and deploy software packages related to security and operational requests.
Streamline system migrations to the latest operating systems (e.g., MacOS, Windows).
Maintain compliance with patching and updating requirements for operating systems and third-party software.
Document procedures for supporting end-user systems within an enterprise management framework.
Act as an escalation point for both enterprise-wide client issues and complex support requests from internal teams.
Generate detailed reports on ongoing initiatives and compliance with key performance indicators.
Provide user education and training on supported technology systems.
Effectively communicate technical and non-technical information, both verbally and in writing.
Facilitate collaboration among healthcare providers, faculty, and other stakeholders to optimize technology use.
Maintain data security and confidentiality in accordance with all applicable regulations.
Pursue professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest trends in enterprise end-user computing.
Occasional nights and weekend work may be required to monitor or address after-hours deployments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
Minimum 4 years of experience in an IT support role (Desktop Support or System Administration) or equivalent experience.
Experience in setting up, supporting, and maintaining information technology systems for a large organization. This includes:
Process automation
Systems management
Scripting (PowerShell, VB, VBScript, Batch, etc.)
Training technical and non-technical staff and customers on IT use
Documenting standard support procedures
Training technical staff on support procedures
Interfacing with all levels of management
Building and testing enterprise software deployment packages using open source tools
PC and Mac image building experience, including OS upgrades
Familiarity with Apple/Microsoft certifications
Proficiency in Intune, Apple administration, and Microsoft 365
Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
Outgoing, friendly, and positive customer service approach.
Ability to travel occasionally to customer sites within the region (optional).
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong multi-platform experience with advanced expertise in MacOS/iPadOS/iOS administration (Apple Certified a plus).
Experience in one or more of these industries: Healthcare, Higher Education, Finance, Insurance, Corporate, Research, Biotech
Experience with Intune Endpoint Management administration
Experience with Apple device management
Experience with software packaging using commercial tools
Experience with Azure Active Directory and Active Directory Federation Service administration for user/workstation management
Experience with print server administration
