Requirements

Excellent Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are necessary for interacting with participants, colleagues, and other stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.
Empathy and Patience: Non-CDL Drivers should demonstrate empathy and patience when working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
Physical Stamina: The role may involve assisting participants with mobility and transportation needs, so candidates should have the physical stamina to perform these tasks, while being able lift 20 pounds.
Attention to Detail: Attention to detail is important for ensuring the safety and well-being of participants during transportation.
Compliance with Policies and Procedures: Non-CDL Drivers should adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations while operating vehicles.
Flexibility: The ability to adapt to changing schedules, routes, and participant needs is essential in this role.

Required Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years old.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (no suspensions, reckless driving or DUIs)
Ability to safely operate and navigate a passenger car/van
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and inspection
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to follow directions and adhere to safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of the adult developmental and intellectual disabilities industry.
