About the Role:
We are partnering with an industry-leading client to add a Data Integration Specialist to their team in Atlanta, GA. This hybrid position will require you to be onsite two days per week. As a Data Integration Specialist, you will bridge the gap between the Power BI dashboard layer, Data Warehouse layers, Data Ingestion processes, and various source systems. Your expertise will drive actionable insights, enhance efficiency, and empower the engineering teams through coordinated knowledge sharing and the creation of support tools.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain and develop Power BI dashboards to provide clear visualizations of complex data.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI queries, data connections, and performance.
Utilize your knowledge of Snowflake and general data warehousing principles to support data views from various sources.
Optimize data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow into the data warehouse.
Monitor and enhance data quality and performance within the data warehouse environment.
Create custom tools to streamline processes and enhance overall productivity.
Develop scripts, utilities, and automation solutions to address specific needs within the engineering team.
Contribute to building a robust data infrastructure through innovative tooling and automation.
Assist the engineering team with data-related challenges, including debugging, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting.
Collect and present feedback from the engineering team to address defects and propose enhancements.
Must-Have Skillsets:
Proficiency in Power BI for report creation and dashboard development.
Strong understanding of Snowflake or similar data warehousing tools and their integration capabilities.
Expertise in SQL and Python.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Nice-to-Have Skillsets:
Prior experience supporting engineering teams.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and foster a collaborative environment.
