We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our finance team. The Senior FP&A Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the company's financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis efforts. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the strategic decision-making process of a rapidly growing SaaS company.
The role requires availability for in-person meetings at our Santa Clara office as necessary. We are a "flexibility-first" company, meaning there are no fixed office days.
WHAT YOU’LL DO Partner with business unit leads to develop quarterly forecasts, annual business plans, and long range plans, including analyzing year-to-date performance and historical trends and collaborate with responsible parties to develop action plans to close any identified gaps
Serve as a key liaison and partner to cross-functional teams, including Accounting, Commercial Operations, and other teams to drive scalable analyses and insights
Analyze key financial and operational metrics to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement
Assist in the preparation of board materials, investor presentations, and other strategic initiatives
Participate in ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed
Work closely with accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and adherence to GAAP principles
Serve as the primary FP&A review for all vendor spend to ensure it is within budget as well as point of contact for user inquiries, training, and support related to the procurement tool, providing timely assistance and troubleshooting issues as needed
Help drive system optimization (e.g., creating automated reporting capabilities)
WHAT YOU’LL BRING Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field - required
3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in technology, and SaaS sector in particular. Experience in investment banking, consulting, or a Big 4 accounting firm highly desired
Intermediate to advanced Excel/Google Sheet skills; proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and variance analysis
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial insights to all levels of management, including non-financial stakeholders
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting and analysis
Strong team player with a collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving; someone who people love working with
Strong work ethic; highly organized, dedicated, detail-oriented and experience with multitasking and shifting priorities quickly under pressure and tight deadlines
Experience and deep understanding of the SaaS business model
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan) is a plus
Experience working with NetSuite, Adaptive, and Salesforce or similar systems
Experience working at a private-equity backed company

$115,000 - $140,000 a year Vaccination policy
