This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 3 days minimum per week in the office.

Reporting into the Head of Client Operations, the primary function of this role is to lead transformation for Client Operations, including Fund Accounting, Portfolio Analytics, Performance Measurement, Client Experience, and Treasury functions. This position is responsible for driving strategic planning and transformation from conception to implementation and adoption while partnering with internal partners at all levels of the organization both within Client Operations and across the firm.

A strong problem solver that can use their analytical skills to develop and implement creative solutions for the business

An excellent communicator

What you will do:

Work with Client Operations leadership to identify opportunities to drive transformation through process improvement, automation, implementation of technology, and re-imagining of operational models

Lead cross-functional transformation efforts ensuring that solutions are supported by robust control frameworks and efficiently designed processes

Define implications of transformation efforts to P&L and cost savings

Periodically communicate transformation initiatives to HarbourVest senior leadership through a variety of channels

Collaborates with HarbourVest’s Data & Analytics teams to deploy business intelligence tools

Support firm-wide transformation initiatives by serving as a key team member representing the Client Operations organization

What you bring:

Proven track record in leadership roles in Finance or Consulting, Asset Management experience is preferred but not required

Experience in enterprise transformation initiatives

Expertise in delivering sophisticated, cross-functional initiatives

Proficiency in utilizing data and metrics to drive decision making and link operating performance to the firm’s long-term objectives

Hands-on experience with BI tools such as data sourcing, visualization and process automation

Education Preferred:

Bachelor of Arts (B.A) or equivalent experience

Bachelor of Science (B.S) or equivalent experience

Experience Preferred:

8-10 Years of relevant experience in Financial Services or Consulting, preferably at a large institution.
