Complete Description:Salesforce Architect/StrategistThe IT Consultant will be responsible for advising clients on how to use various information technology processes, systems, and techniques to solve business problems or meet company objectives. They analyze, solve or develop an organization’s IT systems to ensure they work efficiently. We are looking for someone who has experience in an IT Department or consulting company and who has a broad exposure and background across a range of technology areas in the Developmental Disabilities business domain.DODD is currently seeking a Salesforce solution architect to provide staff augmentation. Specific worker characteristic requirements are listed below. DODD location (Rhodes Office Tower 18th floor, 30 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio).We are seeking a knowledgeable Salesforce solution architect to serve as SME (Subject Matter Expert) to support, maintain, and enhance newly implemented solutions, as well as building new Salesforce solutions. This role is ideal for a development lead with extensive knowledge of Salesforce with hands-on full lifecycle implementation experience capable of wearing different hats as needed (solutions consultant, technical lead, project manager).The ideal candidate will possess strong architect solutions knowledge and will have successfully completed integrating business solutions (from conception to completion) using Salesforce to fit the client’s needs. Since this is a client-facing and leadership advising role, top candidates will possess strong communication skills to consult, educate, and train clients on how to best leverage Salesforce to support their business needs.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following:• Serve as senior technical expert and guide our clients to successfully learn, adopt, and use Salesforce through best delivery methodology practices (Agile, scrum, SAFe, etc.)• Consults with clients to define requirements and recommend enterprise solutions.• Generate, identify and qualify methods of incorporating technology with the standard industry practices.• Study technical trends and how to effect these acquired information with the purpose of upgrading the systems.• Serve as an advisor on industry alternatives, options, perils, and provide data on the advantages against the disadvantages of the same on the business processes and procedures.• Provides support for ongoing and recurring IT security and financial audits of system.• Consults with program/project management to develop appropriate technical solutions.• Advise on options, risks, costs vs. benefits, impact on other business processes and system priorities.Required Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field required; Master’s degree is a plus.Certifications:Salesforce Certified AdministratorSalesforce Certified Platform Developer 1Experience: 3 or more years with governmental human services government.Experience: 5 or more years of post-undergrad industry experience and professional experience in solution architecture, development, and modernization/optimization using Salesforce developmenttechnologies:Digital ExperiencesApex and Lightning Web Component developmentData migration and managementReports and DashboardsDevOps tools for deploymentsVisual Studio Code and Salesforce CLIDocument generation and analytics tools• 3 or more years experience with solution architecture for Human Services government agencies.Desired Qualifications:• 3 or more years experience with Copado.• 3 or more years experience with Nintex Docgen.• 3 or more years experience in Developmental Disabilities business domain.• Experience with Salesforce org consolidation.• Experience with Salesforce DX.• Demonstrate effective leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.• Excellent written and oral communication skills with business and technical teams.• Ability to coach and mentor junior architects and senior developers.• Ability to work independently, as well as part of an Agile team.• Recognize patterns and opportunities for improvement throughout the entire organization.• Ability to discern critical from minor problems and innovate new enterprise solutions
