As a(n)Human Resources Specialist 1for our US Head Officeoffice, youwill contribute to our team by:
Responsibilities
Responsible for the implementation and administration of benefits programs.Oversee the planning and implementation of annual open enrollment.Coordinate with internal communication team and consultants on the developmentof communication and education materials to enhance employee understanding ofbenefit offerings.Evaluate and revise internal processes to increase efficiency. Document andmaintain administrative procedures for assigned benefit processes.Coordinate with benefit plan providers, vendors, and consultants to ensureservice delivery standards are met and facilitate problem resolution.Monitor interfaces with benefits administration system, vendors, and payroll.Administer employee leaves of absence including FMLA, STD, LTD, statedisability leaves, and paid parental leave in conjunction with leaveadministrator, HR, and payroll.Customer support in all areas of benefits, for both contacts in the districtoffices and employees.Oversee coordination of wellness programs including collaboration withdistrict wellness committees, health fairs, webinars, and other eventsand communications.
Qualifications
College degree or equivalent required.Minimum 6 years related experience.Intermediate knowledge of Excel is required.Must have experience managing all types of employee leaves of absence inmulti-state environment.Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.Excellent analytical and communication skills.Strong project management skills with the ability to effectively managemultiple deadlines and changing timelines.PCL is an innovative, employee-owned company comprised of people who findpassion in their profession and take pride in doing great work every day.
