We are currently in search of a Database Administrator for a Civil Rights Organization. This position is based in Chicago- Illinois Medical District. This is a Full-Time, Hybrid, Temporary to Hire opportunity for the right candidate, with an anticipated salary of $65,000.

POSITION TITLE: Database Administrator
SCHEDULE: 35 hours/week (Hybrid 3-day/week in office)
DURATION: Temp to Hire
HOURLY RATE: $28.00- $30.00
Is This Your Dream Job? The Database Administrator is responsible for maintaining, managing and preserving the integrity of the donor database (Raiser's Edge). Including data entry and management, processing gifts and acknowledgements, and analyzing data to help inform decision making ultimately leading to increased revenue for programs, initiatives, and the organization at large.
Our Ideal Candidate:
2+ years experience in database management
Experience with Raiser's Edge NXT
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Bachelor's Degree

How You Will Spend Your Day: Manage data in Raiser's Edge donor database to ensure record accuracy and completeness:
Create and update constituent records
Record donations and pledges utilizing appropriate appeal codes
Generate donor acknowledgement letters and gift receipts for cash and in-kind contributions within the required timeframe
Maximize the functionality of the database by identifying and implementing best practices to most effectively manage all stakeholder data
Produce weekly gift and pledge reports for Development Team analysis
Create queries, exports and customized reports for development and organizational purposes
Develop and deliver ongoing stewardship reports to facilitate a donor-centered approach to enhance retention and upgrades
Use experience and discretion when determining donor pipeline recommendations to inform portfolio adjustments
Track, measure, and monitor donor giving pyramid and moves management system to enhance portfolio and overall fundraising work
Develop and deliver a system for revenue tracking, reporting, and forecasting which supports informed strategic decision making
Provide Raiser's Edge training and technical support to staff
Serve as primary liaison on behalf of the Development Team with finance and accounting staff to ensure gift reconciliation, donor care policies, processes and procedures are maintained, updated, and adhered to
Act as the primary lead for donor database projects, updates, and conversions, including but not limited to planning, implementation, and training of chapter staff
Undertakes projects, as required, and performs other related job duties, as assigned
