About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join their team. This role is pivotal in leading and scaling the FP&A function, influencing strategic growth objectives, and driving business decisions through actionable insights and analyses. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing strategic and annual business plans, forecast updates, internal reporting, and performance management. They will also drive budgeting processes, optimize expense management, and create a culture of FP&A excellence as a strategic partner on financial matters. Strong leadership, the ability to build collaborative relationships, and a deep familiarity with financial accounting, modeling, and analysis are essential for this position.The ideal candidate for the Vice President of FP&A role at the company will have a minimum of 15 years of experience, with at least 8 years in FP&A, and a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent experience. An MBA is strongly preferred, and a CPA/CFA is a plus. Experience in scaling companies, particularly in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, and a background in homebuilding or real estate is desirable. The role requires a leader with a process-oriented focus, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. The candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess high ethical standards. Proven experience in driving change, strong executive presence, and the ability to lead and execute are also key qualifications for this position.
