Omni Hotels & Resorts is seekingFull Time |Tennis Professionalfor the beautiful new Barton Creek Country Club! Ranked among the best resorts in Texas: Top 5 Resorts in the Southwest Conde Nast Traveler and Top 5 Resorts in Texas Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards 2023
Responsibilities
+ Assist with organizing and promoting Resort and Club functions, including lessons, tournaments, and social events.
+ Supervision of tennis operation and staff when assigned by the Director of Sports Operations.
+ Actively promote Barton Creek tennis operations to drive revenue.
+ Assist with providing lessons for all levels of tennis instruction (beginner to advanced) to all age levels (juniors to adults), including private lessons, group lessons and clinics as assigned.
+ Become proficient in using ResortSuite for sales and charges.
+ Attend staff meetings and member functions as required.
+ Assist with maintaining professional tennis pro shop environment..This includes answering telephones cheerfully, greeting members/guests in a positive, pleasant demeanor, and assist with maintaining organized court reservation system.
+ Promote the club to prospective new members.
Qualifications
+ Minimum 2 years experience teaching tennis in a comparable environment.
+ Private club experience is a plus.
+ USPTA Certification is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
+ Must be able to withstand possible 8-10 hour work day.
+ Must be able to withstand exposure to weather conditions.
+ Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
