Position Overview

Fusion Innovation is seeking a member of the Front Office and is responsible for planning, developing, justifying, defending, monitoring, and executing new and existing programs and budgets. The officer will work closely with the Sponsor leadership and contracts team and is expected to develop a thorough understanding of the Sponsor's lines of business. Essential to this role is demonstration of strong written and verbal communication skills to succinctly and concisely articulate the value of each program or investment and how they align to Strategic Priorities.

Position duties include:

Builds and defends budget resource allocation requests; Participation in the planning, formulation, and execution of the Office budget (i.e., IPOM, IPBS, CBJB); Preparing reviews and briefing materials; Responding to ad hoc requests for programmatic and resource information.

Analyzing data and reconcile competing demands for resources to make recommendations to leadership for decision about resource allocations.

Leading, preparing and coordinating budget FYDP formulation and justification submissions.

Leading, guiding, and coordinating budget execution and risk analysis to inform decision and prioritization of planned and current requirements with given funding levels.

Responding to a range of inquiries on resource issues.

Preparing analyses of programmatic data and strategic initiatives to inform management decision on budget execution, formulations and resource tradeoffs.

Guiding and assisting program managers, COTR, GTMs, and Sponsor leadership team in the development of tactical and strategic program plans and annual spend plans.

Serve as a backup budget officer in the execution of office budget.

Required Skills Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.
