Job Description

Senior AccountantWe are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team to provide close support while the Close and Consolidation team is heavily engaged in a company-wide Tagetik Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) implementation project. This role will be responsible for supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, preparing journal entries and reconciliations, assisting with consolidation processes, and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting during this critical transformation period. The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting professional who can quickly learn new processes and thrive in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.Prepare and post journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and resolve reconciling items.Assist with intercompany accounting and reconciliation activities.Support consolidation processes, including elimination entries and financial statement preparation.Prepare financial analyses, variance explanations, and management reporting schedules.Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and regional accounting teams.Assist with external and internal audit requests and provide supporting documentation.Help maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls.Provide backup support for critical close activities and other ad hoc accounting projects as needed.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.4 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in corporate accounting, financial reporting, or consolidation.Strong understanding of US GAAP, month-end and quarter-end close processes, journal entries and account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, intercompany accounting, and consolidations.Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Skills:CPA or CPA candidate preferred.Experience working in a multinational company with multiple legal entities and foreign currencies.Experience with consolidation and reporting tools such as Tagetik, SAP S/4HANA and Group Reporting, Hyperion, or OneStream.Prior experience supporting system implementations or finance transformation initiatives is a plus.Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $40.00 - $50.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
