We seek a dynamic and experienced IT Product Owner/Business Analyst with a robust Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) background. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of business acumen and systems/technical expertise to drive the development and optimization of IT solutions supporting FP&A processes. This role requires a proactive individual who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure the successful implementation of systems within the FP&A business function.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Elicitation and Documentation:
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for IT solutions supporting FP&A processes.
IT Product Ownership
Act as the IT Product Owner for FP&A IT systems, defining and prioritizing features based on business value and strategic objectives. Develop and maintain a clear product roadmap.
System Implementation/ Delivery
Responsible for working with the build team to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions based on the requirements.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Collaborate with IT, finance professionals, sales operations, accounting, and other teams to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the system development life cycle.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Define UAT criteria and collaborate with business stakeholders to thoroughly test IT solutions. Ensure that the implemented systems meet the business requirements and user expectations.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements within the FP&A function. Drive initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall effectiveness of IT-supported FP&A processes.
Data Governance
Work with data governance teams to ensure financial data integrity, security, and compliance within IT systems. Implement and adhere to data governance best practices.
Training And Support
Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure proficient use of FP&A IT systems. Provide ongoing support and address user inquiries.
Risk Management
Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT implementations in the FP&A domain. Proactively address issues to minimize disruptions to business operations.
Documentation And Reporting
Create comprehensive documentation for IT solutions, including technical specifications, user manuals, and system documentation. Generate regular reports on system performance and usage.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a IT Product Owner/Business Analyst, focusing on financial systems and processes.
Deep understanding of all functions of the Finance processes like budgeting, forecasting, Financial modeling, variance analysis, and financial reporting
At least three Finance systems implementations experience in supporting Financial Planning and Analysis.
Expert knowledge of at least one of the major financial systems like Anaplan, Hyperion, and Adaptive planning tools. We use Anaplan,
Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills to address complex business and technical challenges
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across functional teams.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Location: Seattle, New York, San Francisco
The approximate annual base compensation range is $143,000 to $168,500. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geography, as well as internal equity among our team.
