They are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join theirteam and play a key role indeveloping their autonomous robotics products. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing mechanical components and systems to ensure the reliability, performance, and safety of our robotic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Mechanical Design: Designing and developing mechanical components, assemblies, and systems for autonomous robots, including chassis, frames, actuators, and mechanisms.
Prototyping: Creating prototypes and conducting feasibility studies to evaluate design concepts and validate functionality.
Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and product managers, to integrate mechanical and electromechanical systems seamlessly.
Testing and Validation: Conducting mechanical tests, simulations, and analysis to validate designs and ensure compliance with performance specifications and safety standards.
Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for optimization, cost reduction, and innovation in mechanical designs and manufacturing processes.
Documentation: Creating technical documentation, such as design drawings, specifications, and reports, to communicate design concepts and solutions effectively.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience in mechanical design and engineering, preferably in robotics, automation, or related industries.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for 3D modeling and design.
Strong analytical skills with experience in mechanical testing, simulation, and analysis tools (e.g., Finite Element Analysis).
Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and fabrication techniques for mechanical components.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
