The ETF Business Intelligence team supports the ETF business in reporting & analytics, data infrastructure/quality and sales enablement. The vision of the Business Intelligence team is to be an indispensable information resource for the ETF business to help achieve desired goals and objectives. Role Description

As a Markets Intelligence (MI) Analyst, you are responsible for working closely with key stakeholders across the Business team and Client Coverage groups to drive and execute improvements in our data and develop insights across the US, EMEA and APAC markets. Working in partnership with Business Intelligence colleagues, Research, Strategists and Capital Markets, you will pull together data to develop insights to support business decisions - with a focus on ETFs in the first instance. This is an outcome orientated role with the opportunity to drive significant impact across our business, develop tools to support reporting, developing insights, highlighting areas of focus across the business.

Works closely with business leaders to understand business priorities and develop processes to measure their success or need for improvement

Develops and delivers new reporting tools and insights across distribution, marketing, and strategist teams leveraging tools such as Tableau

Build a strong partnership to collaborate for success with BI's Data Architect and Data Science Team to develop a roadmap of future reporting and insights

Participates in the assessment and analysis of sales tools/vendors and drives the execution, implementation and/or change management for new and/or existing sales tools

Proactively looks for areas of improvement across our range and where we are gaining or declining in market share, and highlights trends, patterns or themes from the data.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other similar field of study

2+ years of experience in asset management industry with experience with ETFs or mutual funds preferred

Strong skill set to work with data sets - structured and un-structured to manipulate and drive business insights.

Data science skills are advantageous

Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI and Alteryx

Comprehensive knowledge of and experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce.com including reporting and workflow capabilities and limitations

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Ability to excel in a dynamic environment by adhering to tight deadlines, the ability to prioritize and deliver on projects

Ability to take the initiative and demonstrate flexibility to think creatively to solve problems

Desire to develop an understanding of the global ETF landscape and the SSGA ETF business

Effective working in a highly collaborative and team-based environment

Salary Range:

$80,000 - $132,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
