Job Title: Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Onsite Project Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of software and technical development projects within our organization. The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring successful project execution by managing cost, schedule, and technical performance while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who can navigate complex challenges and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities:
– Serve as the primary “onsite/hands-on” working Project Manager, responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of projects under this contract.
– Lead and manage all aspects of software and technical development projects, providing senior-level guidance to project teams to achieve project objectives.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
– Create and manage detailed work plans, timelines, and project schedules, accommodating multiple priorities and adjusting as needed.
– Provide leadership in concept formulation, technical design, and project management to drive project success.
– Interface effectively with all levels within the organization to gather requirements, establish project objectives, and achieve desired outcomes.
– Develop, analyze, and review concept and technical documentation to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
– Recommend solutions based on a thorough understanding of client needs, project requirements, and technical constraints.
– Demonstrate strong project management skills by efficiently coordinating resources, tracking progress, and addressing challenges as they arise.
– Leverage previous data warehouse experience to contribute insights and expertise to project planning and execution.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
– Proven experience as a Project Manager in software and technical development projects.
– Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
– Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
– Demonstrated ability to create and manage work plans, timelines, and project schedules.
– Leadership skills to guide and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives.
– Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools to ensure efficient project execution.
– Previous experience in data warehouse projects is highly recommended.
– Desired certifications: Project Management certification and Teradata Master Certification from a nationally recognized and accepted source.
– National Agency Check Legal and Credit (NACLC) or Secret clearance is required.
