Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Health Planner, we will look for you to:
Provide planning, design and coordination support on projects
Engage in problem solving, teamwork, critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and visualization to create accurate and detailed drawings
Prepare drawings and specification documents
Research, plan, design and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of design construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials
Review, distribute and file submittals, shop drawings, material data and samples
Assist the Project Manager’s efforts to coordinate the structural, mechanical, electrical and civil disciplines throughout the design process in preparation of the final working drawings
Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field
Must have knowledge of healthcare architecture planning and design.
Understanding of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, prints, drawings and models
Detail-oriented, self-motivated and flexible
Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in the construction of buildings
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Strong organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years experience in A/E industry
Master's degree in Architecture
Healthcare related coursework
Must have met the qualifications of the scholar program
