Responsibilities: Lead and mentor the team in preparing and distributing the organization's multi-state and international payroll on a weekly and bi-weekly basis.
Oversee the management of payroll-related data within the HRIS system.
Collaborate closely with HR contacts and Operations leaders to ensure the smooth implementation of HR and company programs related to payroll administration.
Ensure payroll compliance by staying informed about relevant laws, regulations, contracts, policies, procedures, and controls governing payroll operations, and provide guidance to departments as needed.
Manage the processing of all off-cycle payroll distributions, including bonus payments.
Address and resolve complex payroll inquiries related to paychecks, and act as the primary approver for all payroll processing.
Guarantee the accurate and timely generation of periodic, quarterly, and year-end tax filings, including W-2s, in coordination with a third-party vendor.
Qualifications: 3-5 years of multi-state payroll processing experience
At least 1 yr. experience leading a team
UKG or comparable payroll processing for 10000+ employees experience required.
Canadian Payroll experience

the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
licensure and certification requirements;
office location and other geographic considerations;
