About the Role
The Company is seeking a Corporate Counsel for Privacy Data Governance to join its Global Privacy team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the company's mission to power prosperity around the world by focusing on privacy-first practices that enhance customer trust and brand equity. This position involves partnering with senior attorneys to provide legal counsel on data governance, particularly in the context of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and GenerativeAI. The role also includes contributing to the enhancement and automation of data governance processes, managing data subject access rights, and negotiating data protection agreements.As part of the Privacy Data Governance team, the Corporate Counsel will be responsible for driving insight and innovation while ensuring compliance with global data protection requirements. This includes interfacing with external counsel, documenting data management processes, and building relationships with key stakeholders across the company. The ideal candidate will have a privacy mindset, be adept at managing legal risks, and be committed to the company's mission. The role offers the opportunity to learn and grow within a collaborative and diverse team, and to make a meaningful contribution to the company's strategic priorities.
