Job Description Job Description Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $140,000 to $175,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities: Supervise, lead, and provide direction to junior team members.
Preparation of consolidated federal and multi-state corporate estimated tax payments, tax extensions, and returns.
Coordinate information gathering from various internal departments to support the tax projects
Prepare Forms 54711, 5472, 1042 workpapers.
Assist with federal, state, and local tax audits.
Perform tax planning and research for international, federal, state, and local issues.
Assist in the implementation of new income tax provision software.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other related area required .
7+ years progressively responsible tax experience.
CPA preferred.
Well-rounded knowledge of corporate tax, GAAP and IFRS accounting is required.
Knowledge of Checkpoint and BNA is a plus, Oracle Finance and Tax reporting cloud service is a plus.
Experience: Management/supervisory/leadership prior experience.
Must have consolidated federal and combined state return preparation review experience.
Strong communications and analytical skills.
